Bison Burger
Ingredients
1 pound ground bison (buffalo)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1-2 Large sweet potatoes
Dijon mustard
optional toppings: tomato, lettuce, avocado, onion, or any other favorite toppings
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice sweet potatoes 1/4 inch thick and place on a lined baking sheet.
Bake sweet potatoes for 30 minutes, or until tender.
Preheat the grill. While the grill heats up combine all the ingredients for the burgers in a large bowl. Then shape into 4 patties.
Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4 minutes each side.
When both the sweet potatoes and burgers are done, place one sweet potato slice on a plate and add Dijon mustard along with lettuce, tomato, or any other topping you would like. Then add the burger and top with another sweet potato slice.
