Turkey Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
6-8oz of baby bell mushrooms, finely minced
1 8oz can water chestnuts, drained and minced
2 green onions, sliced
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4-1/3 cup coconut aminos
Iceberg lettuce
Directions
Prepare the filling by heating the olive oil in a medium saute pan over medium heat. Add turkey and cook until lightly browned and cooked all the way through.
Add mushrooms, water chestnuts, green onions, and garlic. Cook until fragrant and cooked all the way through. Add 1/4 cup coconut aminos and stir to coat the mixture.
Add additional sauce as desired, but be careful not to make it too watery.
Scoop mixture onto lettuce leaves and top with cilantro, shredded carrots, and/or your favorite sauce.
